Itinerary

Sunday: Arrival day Park City

If you're renting one of our T700s, we'll spend some time getting you acquainted, set up, and comfortable. If you're riding your own bike, we'll do a quick walk through safety check and run through some brief riding techniques. We'll then all meet for introductions, ride expectations & dinner at 6pm.

Monday: Wasatch Mountains to the Sevier Valley

We'll head straight for the dirt on one of the highest roads in Utah, following the spine of the Wasatch Plateau. With epic views from all sides, it's a fun, easy dirt road scenically winding us southbound. We'll then descend into the Sevier Valley, with Mountain ranges bordering the valley: the Pahvant Range and Tushars to the west and Wasatch and Fish Lake plateaus to the east. With National forests covering almost half of the land of this county, the roads are windy & fun, and the scenery endless.

Tuesday: Salina to the Sevier Plateau

From the valley, we'll follow an exciting dirt "road" back into the mountains, through forests, and around reservoirs. Ending the day winding through the narrow valley floor between mountain ranges, and popping out at some of our favorite cabins along the river.

Wednesday: Into the Desert

Day 3 is epic on all fronts. We'll ride into the iconic and beautiful red rock of the Utah desert, then after a morning of dirt roads, we'll finish the day riding Hells Backbone. One of the many amazing roads Utah has to offer!

Thursday: Boulder to Blanding

Today we will ride the beautiful open desert, down the Burr Trail switchbacks, skirt past Lake Powell, then wind through canyons all the way to Blanding.

Friday: Moab!

Moab is the place that put the beautiful Utah desert on the map, and we love it (we know, we know. EVERYBODY loves it). And for good reason! We'll ride one of our personal favorite trails that offers all things Moab: red rock canyons, balancing rocks, rivers, streams, epic views, and twisty mountain roads. It's the perfect challenge that worth every ounce of effort.

Saturday: Moab to GRIT

To end the tour, we'll scrub off the dirt on your tires with fun twisty roads as we weave our way back north to Park City. With one final dinner as a group, you'll be on your way with great stories, good laughs, and possibly some new riding friends.

What’s not Included

Bike Rentals, riding gear, & airfare are not included within this tour, but we can help! Just let us know what you need and we’ll help you get there.

Motorcycle equipment

Tires. 50/50 knobby tires are highly recommended, but this decision depends on the type of riding you’d like to do post class. If you can’t decide, give us a ring and we’ll talk you through brand options and types to make sure you have a tire suitable for you. We’ll also have tires on hand at the ranch if we need a last minute swap out.

Hand guards. High quality & strong hand guards to protect levers are recommended. We use and recommend HDB Ultimate Hand guards.

Mirrors. Doubletake Mirrors help prevent damage to the expensive original parts. If you have your factory mirrors still on, bring a back ups just in case or remove them before class starts.

Luggage. Hard panniers can be dangerous & heavy, and are strongly discouraged. Soft luggage or tail bags are definitely recommended for carrying luggage during tours. A small backpack or Camelbak is also ideal for carrying snacks & water over tank bags that may get in the way.

Required Riding Gear

Helmets, riding boots, and gloves are required for all classes. And body armor is strongly recommended. The more protected you feel, the more you’ll push out of your comfort zone and learn new skills! If you have any questions on your gear, hit us up anytime.

Deposit & Cancellation Fees

We ride rain or shine, but understand life happens.

Refunds are available only for cancellations done within 48 hours of booking. For cancellations up to 3 weeks prior to your class, a credit for a future class of equal value will be issued and available for 12 months from issue date. However, no refunds or credits will be given for cancellations within 3 weeks prior to the start of the class and/or ride.

If you are unable to complete a class or ride that you started due to physical or mechanical reasons, you may be issued a partial credit to attend a future class or event within 12 months.

If a class or tour is canceled due to weather or an event not within the control of Grit Moto Adventures, participants will be given a credit towards an equivalent class or ride of their choice on a future date.
