SHE.ADV Women’s Weekend

LEVEL 1-2, Adv Skills Course
Two Day – $995
Shal’s two-day class covers beginner to intermediate levels and is ideal for new off-road riders, experienced street riders transitioning to dirt, or even seasoned dirt bikers looking to improve their skills on heavy adventure bikes in challenging terrain. Using the Dragoo Adventure Rider Training (D.A.R.T.) curriculum, Shal delivers a well-structured program where each step builds on the previous one. Riders will start with the basics, including balance, body position, peg weighting, clutch control, enduro steering, and braking, laying a solid foundation for more advanced techniques. As the class progresses, students will tackle hills, off-camber terrain, hill fail recovery, obstacles, and towing. The exercises are progressive, comprehensive, and designed to provide plenty of practice, helping riders refine their skills and confidently handle difficult off-road conditions.

“Redline your life, by living it to the fullest!” – Shal
Shal is one of those people you meet that makes you want to be better, do better, and try harder. Spending 30+ years adventuring in the Alaskan backcountry has left her with more grit than most of us could fathom. She’s spent years mountain biking, bike packing, mountaineering, white water rafting, kayaking, backpacking, and of course miles and miles of backcountry adventure riding. She’s a backcountry enthusiast and thankfully a Wilderness First Responder because of it.
When she’s not busy training, Shal is out conquering as much backcountry terrain as she can squeeze in. During a 31,000 mile solo moto trip in 2015, she even set the original record for the most Backcountry Discovery Routes traveled in a 3-month time frame, and was part of the BDR Expedition Team for the filming of the New Mexico BDR.
